Rules of the Korean Society of
International Agriculture Editorial Committee

Article 1. (Purpose)
In accordance with Article 13(5) of the Articles of Association of the Society, the objective of these rules is to regulate the details regarding the composition and roles of the Editorial Committee.

Article 2. (Tasks)
The Editorial Committee shall conduct the following tasks:

1. Publish academic research, Journal, and books for the Korean Society of International Agriculture
2. Support research presentations, symposiums, and lecture events
3. Conduct various cooperation projects and exchange information regarding North Korean agricultural research
4. Conduct agricultural resource survey in Korea and abroad and execute technology cooperation projects, etc.

Article 3. (Composition of the Editorial Committee)
The Editorial Committee shall be composed as follows:

1. The Korean Society of International Agriculture shall convene the Editorial Committee to review tasks regarding editing
2. The Editorial Committee shall be composed of no more than twenty members including a chairman; members may serve for a term of two (2) years and may serve consecutive terms.

Article 4. (Convening of Meetings)
Meetings of the Editorial Committee shall be convened by the Committee chairman (director) with the approval of the Society Chairman when required for reasons such as publishing the Journal.

Supplementary Provision

Article 1. (Effective Date)
These rules shall come into effect on the day that they are approved by a majority in the Executive Meeting of the Korean Society of International Agriculture.
